Day 1 - Landing at Kathmandu
On your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives will pick you up with your name on a sign board and will escort you to the hotel.
Kathmandu is the largest metropolis of Nepal, is the centre of the country’s history, art, culture and economy. Containing the remnants of Nepal’s medieval era in the form of old Durbar Squares and temples, many of the city’s old monuments and buildings are also listed under the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. The city is a cornucopia of temples and shrines dedicated to various deities and gods and contain dense concentrations of religiously and historically significant locations. Touring the city provides a deep insight into the rich history of the country and it is a great way to be close to Nepal’s authentic artistry and its prominent riches that are displayed brilliantly on its many old buildings and complexes.

Day 2 - Trip to Nagarkot
We tour world heritage sites which hold vast cultural, religious and historical for Nepalese people. The amazing sites include Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous 'monkey Temple'(Swayambhunath) and Boudhanath.
Then we drive to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is very well known for its fantastic mountain views. The place is close from Kathmandu yet it is far from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The sunrise and sunset view from this point is fabulous. With fresh air and peaceful environment, Nagarkot is a place to relax your mind and body. It is an opportunity to escape the frantic hours of life to experience the beauty of nature in Nepal.
Day 3 - Nagarkot to Bandipur
Your morning starts with the enthralling sunrise along with the splendid mountain views. After breakfast, we drive back to Bandipur another hill station for the sunrise and sunset view.
Day 4 - Bandipur to Pokhara
After the splendous sunrise, we drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is another major city of Nepal with various prominent places that will be visiting today, like the Bindabasini temple, the Davis fall, the Gupteshwor cave, the Seti River Gorge and finally boating on the pristine Phewa Lake and visiting the temple of Taal Barahi. The Bindabasini temple is located in the centre of the religious old bazaar in the city and is dedicated to the Goddess Bhagwati. The Davis fall on the other hand, is perhaps one of the most famous waterfalls in the country. It is also called “the Patale Chhango” and is located in the southern flank of the Pokhara valley. The waterfall has water collapsing and falling through many gorges in the rocks below leaping along many rocky portals while doing so. The revered Gupteshwor Cave is situated 2 kilometers away from the Pokhara airport. The entrance to the cave is right across from Davis fall and it is almost 3 km long. With some big hall-sized rooms and some passages, exploring the cave is also sometimes an adventure where you have to crawl on all four. This cave holds special value to the Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the same condition as when it was discovered. The next is the Seti Gorge. Carved by the Seti-Gandaki River, it is one of the most amazing natural wonders of Pokhara. And finally, at the end of the tour, you will be boating on the tranquil Phewa Lake. Situated at an altitude of 800 meters, the Phewa is the second largest lake in Nepal. With the Barahi Island Temple in the middle of the lake, it is the most important religious place in Pokhara. Built almost in the middle of the Phewa Lake, this two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the female force Shakti. The reflection of Mount Machhapuchhre and the Annapurna can also be seen in its serene waters. The thick pine forest on the adjoining southern slopes of the lake is also quite haunting.
Day 5 - Sarangkot Viewpoint and Pokhara Sightseeing
Morning drive to Sarangkot for the sunrise view, the village Sarangkot is one of the most beautiful villages near in the Pokhara city. It is located in west part of Pokhara at the height of 1592 meter from sea label. Sarangkot is best place to see the sunrise and panorama mountain range. Upon drive back to Pokhara, we will have remaining sightseeing tours of Pokhara.
Day 6 -Back to Kathmandu
In the early morning, we will be returning back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. We take the Prithvi Highway which is approximately 7 hours’ drive to reach Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu, we return to Hotel and have time to rest and relax. You can enjoy spa and massage treatments to soothe the body pain from trekking.
Day 7 - Final Departure
It may be an end to one journey, but another will surely begin! Your journey to Nepal Sunrise and Sunset Tour has officially came to an end on this day.
Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight time, our representative will transfer you to the airport.
We will be staying at 3 Star Standard hotels which have deluxe suite in Kathmandu for 2 nights and the best available hotels during the tour. All accommodations are on twin-shared basis. Single supplement will be served on request and will cost an additional USD 300.
All meals will be provided during tour while only breakfast will be available in Kathmandu. There will also be welcome and farewell dinners for guests. While on the tour, we have breakfast and dinner in the lodges/hotels we spend the night and lunch on our way to the next destination. The hotel menu includes Nepalese, Tibetan and the more common continental cuisines for us to choose from.
Best Time to Travel
The best time for the Tour is spring (Febraury to June) and autumn (September to December) seasons. The temperature is moderate in these seasons and guarantees amazing views through the trip. Although this trek can be undertaken during winter, the cold temperature might not be suitable for everyone.
